I have a special needs son and am making changes to the kitchen specifically because of his special needs can I apply for a government grant?

Ok I’m about to get a Dell XPS Studio with Intel Core i7-920 12GB memory and 750GB hard drive I want a program that will run fine on there and will be easy and user friendly. I just want it to help me with remodeling and designing my home and to get an idea of what it will look like please help thankx

Im looking a turning my garage into a small apartment for her. She is a stroke victim. It is going to cost somewhere in the range of $25,000 – $45,000.

We have an unfinished dormer. We have the talent to do some of the work ourselves. We’re just unsure if it would be worth all the work when we could possibly find a new home with the two new bedrooms and extra bath we’ll be needing to add on to our current home. Of course, since we’re adding space, the furnace and electrical systems would also need to be updated. The plumbing in the house is all orginal, and would have to be replaced also (it’s due without the remodel). We like where we’re at, but wouldn’t mind a change of scenery too. Not to mention, we’re in a time crunch, have to be done within 7 months. Thanks for your help.

Is there a home remodel site that will help me to test design ideas for my bathroom? As in letting me make the bathroom I have and then testing colors and fits for the items in the room?…..just curious! Thanks!

My boyfriend and I just bought our first house.
& the people we bought from, starting tearing out the guts of the house because they wanted to remodel, but in the end they just didn’t have the time or money to do so.

So I’m basically looking at a blank slate, and looking for ideas online as of right now.
