I want to legally start a business in NJ. It will be based from my home. I will be selling the service of staging a home for selling and also remodeling and decorating advice. How do I go about making my business legal and how do I make my business name legal?

im from philadelphia..im not certified but i have years experience in home remodel but what i want to no is if i need to be certified to get licensed and bonded in the state of PA… i also want to get a company name..if possible what is the procedure for that also…

We own a small furniture company where we make custom wood furniture and children’s furniture and have just started and need to get our name out there, sell, advertise more, etc. Is a big Home Show worth it, like a Decorating and Remodeling Home Show for our State? It’s VERY expensive for our budget and we’d have to take out a big business loan for a small business.
Is this something worth getting into debt for and what are the possible/potential returns from selling at a four day Home & Garden Show?

Where can i find a graph or numbers showing the home improvement market in the U.S. over the past ten years?

Also if there is anywhere that breaks it down by state or region that would be very helpful as well.

I’ve been a carpenter for 9yrs.I have the clientle and know what i’m doing.The question is going into business for myself.I’m lic & insured not to mention i have a small budget.Getting incorporated is my next step , just not sure about a few things.I have questions and everyone gives different answers.Can you help me ?

I expect the business to pay for itself. Should I issue stock? sell bonds? Should I go public and stay private?

I’ll need to gather basic info on perspective new customers when they call. Besides the basic name, address, telephone #, does anybody have any other ideas of what should be on my info sheet? ? A template (cheat sheet) would be really great, although I’m not really that lazy. Thanks for any info. I appreciate it.
