My daughter is responding to an ad on Craigs list to share a newly remodeled home with someone. She is on the west coast and he is on the east coast. What are some of the questions you would ask and how would you know this is a safe place to live?

You should be able to look up crime statistics online. I would ask the potential landlord to send pictures of the house and of him so she can get a better perspective. Call the local police department and ask them about the crime rate, whether or not they think it’s a safe place to live, and if they would allow their daughter to live there. [who]
